Teen cited for Greenville injury crash

GREENVILLE – A teenage driver was cited for a crash on the 600 block of Fair Street in Greenville Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Greenville Police Department, the male teen was traveling north through an alley when he crossed into the path of a northbound Ford Taurus on Fair Street. The teen’s Mitsubishi SUV struck the front end of the Taurus before hitting a utility pole and coming to rest in the alley on the north side of Fair Street.

Two females passengers of the SUV were transported to Wayne HealthCare with minor injuries. Both male drivers and a male passenger of the SUV were not injured in the crash.

The teen was cited for the crash according to the investigating officer.
