GREENVILLE – Albert J. Fleckenstein, age 32, could spend the rest of his life in prison for allegedly engaging in a sexual act with a 3-year-old child earlier this year, according to the indictment.
Fleckenstein is currently jailed on a $50,000 bond after a Grand Jury indicted him for one count of Rape, a first degree felony. He was charged following an investigation by the Ansonia Police Department after being accused of the crime which allegedly occurred in May in the Village of Ansonia.
Due to the age of the victim, Fleckenstein faces a maximum of life without parole and a minimum of 15 years to life sentence if convicted as charged. He is scheduled for a status conference later this month.
The case is being handled for the state by Darke County Prosecutor Kelly Ormsby.
