Lady Patriots ready for 2020 golf season

NEW MADISON – The Tri-Village Lady Patriots golf team under the direction of head coach Roy Lowrie is looking for a good 2020 fall season playing in the Cross County Conference (CCC).

“We are looking to have a decent year,” Lowrie said. “We finished out the season last year really well so we would like to try to keep that going this year.”

Graduation has the Lady Patriots looking to fill the vacated No. 1 spots with sophomore Alyssa Begoon.

“We unfortunately graduated our best player last year who had a really great career for us but our new No. 1 who is only a sophomore has a really bright future,” Coach Lowrie said of Begoon.

Coach Lowrie fields a balanced team made up of two seniors, three juniors a sophomore and a freshman.

“We have two seniors but one of them is a first time golfer,” Lowrie noted, “so just having a good time her senior year.”

The 2020 Lady Patriots includes seniors, Loraligh Waters and Lucie Morris. Camryn Wyne, Isa Ramirez and Jamie Hemmelgarn make up the junior class, Sage Waters a sophomore and Bella Black complete the team.
