Hunt pleads guilty to trafficking charge

GREENVILLE –  Sentencing has been set for May 31 for Jason Hunt of Greenville.

Hunt, 25, entered a guilty plea to one count of aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine, appearing before Judge Jonathan P. Hein on Wednesday, April 11.

Hunt and his attorney Randall Breaden agreed to a plea deal with Assistant Prosecutor James Bennett, which dismissed one additional count as well as the dismissal of a specification that Hunt was caught with meth within 1,000 feet of a school, which carries a stronger sentence.
